A microfilm of work diaries of Joseph Brady, kept between 1860-1874. The first pertains to the Mount Alexander Railway, Cornish and Bruce's contracts, middle sections. It contains detailed records of expenditure and construction, notably for the Elphinstone Tunnel, the Taradale Viaduct, the Malmsbury Viaduct and Cuttings. The second is in relation to the Bendigo Water Works, Crusoe Reservoir and other contracts, 1870-1874. It contains detailed records of expenditure and construction, including subcontracts, 1870-1874. At the back is a survey of the Coliban Reservoir (1863?).
